Pizza & Bread Class – May 21 (5pm-8pm) & May 22 (8am-12pm)

This is a 2 day hands-on class where you will be making pizza and artisan bread.

In this class you will:

  • Learn how to make pizza dough and pizza sauce
  • Shape pizza
  • Understand the basics of how to use different flour and types of yeast
  • Obtain a working knowledge of sourdough starter as used for our bread
  • Develop shaping techniques for hearth style bread loaves
  • Bake pizza and bread in a working wood fired oven, using skills that can be applied to your home oven

All materials are provided at no additional cost.  Students will each make a pizza and shape at least 1 loaf of bread to take home.

Cost for the 2 day class per student is $150.

Cancellation policy – Classes are small in size and limited.  While no refund can be offered after booking, I will keep a waitlist and provided your spot can be filled, a refund will then be granted.  If you are aware of a conflict in your schedule 30 days or more in advance, you can move your reservation to a different class provided there is room  available in the desired schedule.  If the class needs to be cancelled due to CT COVID guidelines participants will be issued a refund.
